Aluminum alloy stamping processing requires special attention to process control due to its special material properties. 1. Key points for material selection

1) Reasonably control the hardness of aluminum plate: It is recommended to give priority to aluminum materials with lower hardness such as 1 series, 3 series, and 5 series; for aluminum materials with higher hardness such as 6 series and 7 series, annealing treatment to O state is required before processing.

2) Scientifically select material thickness: Under the premise of meeting product performance requirements, use thinner aluminum plates as much as possible.

2. Process design specifications

1) Punching process arrangement: The punching process should be arranged at the back as much as possible. For products with a large number of holes, a special punching process can be considered.

2) R angle design standard: The R angle of the bent part should not be too small to prevent cracking.
3) Texture direction control: The stamping direction should be perpendicular to the rolling texture of the aluminum plate.
4) Reverse folding treatment: avoid pressure line design, widen the pressure line and reduce the depth when necessary.

 

3. Production site management
1) Use of stamping oil: Stamping oil should be used appropriately during processing, which is beneficial to heat dissipation and can ensure smooth punching.
2) 5S management requirements: Keep molds, equipment, production lines, and packaging clean, and regularly remove sharp debris.
3) Timing of surface treatment: Workpieces that require surface treatment such as wire drawing must be carried out after the forming process is completed.
